Program Details: 

Certified Nurse Assistants are essential healthcare providers who offer direct patient care and assist with daily activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA role is foundational in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and residential care facilities, offering an entry point into the healthcare field with opportunities for growth and specialization. 

 

Program Duration (Schedule below):

The CNA program is 2-5 weeks long, consisting of 100 hours of instruction, with 60 hours of classroom training (or Online course) and 40 hours of supervised clinical practice.

  • Tuition including registration fee($150 non-refundable) and any supply fee
  • Student CPR (AHA BLS) : $65

  • Payment plans available. We offer a payment plan for tuition, allowing students to divide the total cost into two or three installments.
  • The school is not Title IV approved. No federal financial aid is offered or provided.

*The tuition includes all necessary fees, including the $150 registration fee, clinical practice fee, and required materials. Students are responsible for purchasing their scrubs(Navy color) for clinical practice. The BLS certification is not included in the tuition and must be obtained separately.

Students are eligible to take the CNA Certification Exam upon completing the course. 

 

For admission into its programs, DMS Training Center requires proof of the following:

  • Must be 16 years or older.
  • State-issued ID card from any state, passport, green card, or driver’s license.
  • Social Security number.
  • High school diploma, unofficial high school transcript, GED, college diploma, or unofficial college transcript is required.
    • The high school diploma/GED/college transcript requirement can be waived if the applicant demonstrates an 8th-grade level of reading and writing capability.
  • International high school and college diplomas are accepted.
  • Vaccination record (TB, MMR, DTP, Hep B)

Additional Requirements:

  • Uniforms/scrubs (navy color) and closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required for clinical practice.
  • CPR certificate (must be obtained before clinical practice).

  • Students will take an 'AHA BLS (CPR) course' before/after the Skill session.

 

CNA (Certified Nurse Aide) Program Schedule

Format: Hybrid (Online theory + In-person lab & clinical)
Start Dates: Every 1st and 3rd Monday of each month
Duration: 2 weeks per session

Schedule:

  • Lab Days (4days): 2 Tuesdays and 2 Thursdays | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Clinical Days (5days - 40 hours): Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Final Skill Practice (Optional): Saturdays | 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Exam Schedule: After completing the course, students will get access to schedule the exam at TULIP and the Prometric testing center.
