Doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals rely on patient care technicians to assist with the critical day-to-day care some patients require. They provide hands-on assistance to serve patients' basic needs, which greatly impacts the lives of their patients and their patients' families.

Program Goal:
To prepare students to take the Certified Patient Care Technician / Assistant (PCT/PCA) (NHA CPCT/A) exam and gain entry-level employment as a PCA / PCT

Length of program:
4 months, self-paced. Start learning today - no waiting period. - School Lab Practice: 4 days during the program
- Tuition including registration fee : $150 (Non-refundable)
- A payment plan is available for tuition, subject to credit approval.
What students will learn
- Provide basic patient care — bathing, feeding, catheter care, etc.
- Acquire, distribute and administer patient care supplies
- Perform safety checks and ensure cleanliness in patient rooms
- Accommodate any additional patient needs
- Obtain EKG readings and monitor vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy procedures
- Provide emotional support to patients and families, particularly coping with grief and death
DMS Training Center requires proof of the following:
- Must be 16 years or older
- State-issued ID card from any State, Passport, Green card or Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED or Graduating from high school or a GED program within 12 months
- No Immunizations or vaccinations are required
- Uniforms/Scrubs not required. Students should dress casually and comfortably for school.
- CPR Certificate (before graduation)
Skill Practice Schedule
- Students can start the program at any time
- Students will have skill sessions while taking online classes
- Students manage their own time and progress.
- All students will complete '4 days' of MA skills training.
- Only 4 days!! Check the schedule below and come to school on the day corresponding to each different color (Yellow, Red, Green, Blue).

Saturday PM: 12:30 pm- 4:00pm
How to apply?
- Please fill out the 'application form' with the correct information.
- Send a copy of your high school diploma in English to admin@dmscaretraining.com.
- When sending an email, please be sure to include in the subject line your name, the class you wish to take, and a brief description. (Example: Christine Son, Phlebotomy Course, High school diploma)
- You can purchase the course and start studying. When paying for the class and creating an account, please use the 'student's own email address and name'.
- Once you pay for the course, you can immediately access the basic lectures provided by the school. Three days after payment, you will receive an email from NHA to gain access. You need to create an account there, and then you can start taking the main courses provided by NHA.
